IDI (In Depth Interview)

These are face-to-face interviews designed to explore the topics in greater detail.

This approach is recommended for sensitive questions that are difficult to address or discuss in a group setting, or when dealing with a population that is hard to reach or resistant to expressing opinions and attitudes in a group with the same profile (business owners, experts, or competitors within the same sector, etc.).

 

FG (Focus Groups)

The focus group is the most commonly used technique in qualitative studies.
