FG (Focus Groups)

focusgroup

The focus group is the most commonly used technique in qualitative studies

It involves a guided discussion with a small, homogeneous group of 8 participants (on average) who are directly involved with the concept or product being studied.

  • An experienced facilitator, skilled in group dynamics, leads the discussions, stimulates interactions, and explores participants' attitudes, motivations, and obstacles. The discussions are filmed and transcribed in full, and a thematic content analysis is performed.
  • A video circuit allows the client to observe the discussions in real-time.
  • Simultaneous translation by professionals is provided upon request.
